Together with our project partners at PIINTEC, we have hosted a number of workshops focussed on Disaster Risk Reduction with the aim of building capacity. It also acts as a chance to bring DPRK and international scientists together and identify priority areas for collaboration and the development of new proposals. Highlights include:
- Hosting a workshop on volcanic hazards in Pyongyang in July 2019.
- Developing a report summarising the latest scientific research on Disaster Risk Reduction.
- Translating 4 of the COPE series of books aimed at school children on Disaster Risk Reduction. You can download the pdfs here:
